As the name suggests, seo article writing is writing which aids the SEO process and helps in driving traffic to your website. Simple as it may sound, it does have its own techniques and ways to ensure maximum benefit. Here are some essentials of SEO article writing without which using this SEO technique is useless:

Informative articles- This is the most important aspect of seo article writing. True, the articles are meant for SEO purposes, but most article directories would not approve the articles if they do not have any useful information. A case in point is Ezine article directory. The directory discourages blatant link promotion and has strict rules against such content.
Grammatically correct- Again, poorly written articles will not be approved by most article directories. So, keep in mind that for your article to appear on popular article directories, it needs to be written in excellent English. Usually, a 99% accuracy is appropriate for your article to get approved.
No keyword stuffing- Most people associate seo article writing with using keywords after every couple of sentences. Articles which contain too many instances of keywords being used are rejected by the article directories. In fact, Ezine allows only 1-2% of keyword usage in an article. Therefore, unnecessarily stuffing the article with keywords won’t help the cause.
Evenly spreading the keywords- There must have been various instances where you may have come across articles that contain the appropriate keywords which are used within the permissible limit but these keywords are used haphazardly in the article. For example- the keyword may have been used only in the first paragraph of the article or the last paragraph of the article. Such an article not only makes it difficult for your article to get approved, but it also leaves a bad impression on the reader, which will result in bad PR for your business.
Goading readers to action- The basic purpose of seo article writing, apart from getting you higher ranking on search engines, is to drive traffic. An article, which has the right keywords and is submitted to the right directory, can get you the desired traffic if the writing style and the information contained therein goads the reader to take action by clicking the link at the end of the article. Thus, it is important that SEO article writing incorporates concepts of copywriting to be of maximum benefit to a business.
